That's a pain but a good idea if you want to throw off snipers I guess! ;-)

This tactic would gain you all the automated sniping bids like AS and then encourage the nibblers as well. (this is the first time I have seen a good case for manual sniping!)
Sure looks like a brilliant way to increase your auction price.
Obviously if you did it frequently, people would get to recognise the tactic but for occasional sellers like me, it would be a good ruse to raise the price.
Any snags anyone can see?
