I have tried dragging the link to the liks bar (IE6 on XP SP2) but it does not seem to happen.
No I haven't let go of the button on the way there.
Any ideas - or might it be some "feature" of XP that I have overlooked?

Have you tried turning off your popup stopper, if you have one? I had to do that to make it stick.

Works fine on mine - click and move it up to the links and wave your mouse around until the circle disappears and the line appears! Then let go...

Thanks chaps & chapesses. It was the pop up blocker.
Turned off in IE & Norton and still could not drag it over, but could add to Favouties / Links. However, I have to leave the Popup Blockers Off to get it to work - which I would prefer not to do really

Most popup blockers allow you to choose per program, if you want it to block or not. I allow it on Ebay and can't recall any popups there anyway!

check that under view->toolbars-> lock the tool bar isn't checked.
Hold the cntrl key down when clicking on snipe it now and the pop blocker won't block it

I also think some newer versions of Internet Explorer dont allow favorites or links on the link bar that include Javascript for security reasons. This just started with one of the latest versions of Internet Explorer.
Try filing a support case and maybe someone has a way of doing it.

Sorry these are really silly questions, but I have just moved to XP w SP2 from 98SE and am on a steep learning curve, not with the "basics" , but more involved stuff.
Perhaps I should have accepted the offer of the tour, not just give it a cursory clance and think I knw it all

Just a thought - I can't see why the popup blocker would stop you adding it to the links in XP, nor should having the links locked. What I do is delete all the default crap from the links then populate it with my very favourite favourites (my Ebay, AS's snipe it now, my fav. searches on ebay, Spamcop (.net), Radio Station etc - renaming them so that they easily fit on the bar. Now, when it gets full two chevrons appear '>>' - click on that to see the other options - maybe SIN was hidden there.
Your popup blocker should be made to accept SIN - the Ctrl and Click should only be a short term cure - check out the help!
