I like it, Squeaky!

Squeaky, I don't know..I don't think I say either! Maybe, because ,I think, this is an American based site, they kind of go by what we, in the States would consider rude and offensive. However, getting back to the word in question, uesed correctly, without reference to your "male child", but to a female dog should be allowed.

....Takes a bow.....Thank you!
Rick - I'm flattered that you bothered to look at my site. I'm trying to write a new one with better design and a slicker interface, but I spend so much time doing stuff for other people that my own site always looks very "behind the times".
Vargen is the dog furthest away in that photo of the two-dog team. He was a great lead dog and he is very much missed.
SuperSqueaky is Volk. He is Kenai's son. Lupus and Chara are his brother and (three years younger)sister. Miraq and Cilla came to me through their previous owners' marriage breakups and Shamanu is the "apple of my eye". His nicknames are "Mr Fluffy", "Bagpuss" and "Merlin the Happy Pig". It would take a long time to explain the second two to anyone who doesn't have a knowledge of cult UK TV, although "Mr Fluffy" just means he's Mr and he's Fluffy.

Oh, by the way, Mrs. M, where did you get the lovely graphic with the "Welcome" and the hanging baskets by a door you posted a week or so ago? I've tried searching for clip art in my quiet moments, but all the sites I come across seem to want credit card details before you can get access to the pictures.
I've spent too much on upgrading my computer system and husky-related collectables recently to buy clip art too!

Squeaky,
Don't know how you keep track of all the names, and then for fun, you give each one a nickname or two.

Good morning Mrs. M,
How are you doing?
Anything exciting planned?

I will admit I'm a bit of a dog name nerd...
I can't remember the names of people I've met several times, but I can remember any dog's name and the names of their ancestors back generations. It may be a family thing because my Dad can identify, from a recording of steam train noises, which locomotive it was and where on the national network it was when the recording was made....
Personally I love pedigrees - I spend a lot of my spare time tracing bloodlines and researching breed history. eBay can be very useful for materials to help with this.
Thanks for the graphics sites. I'll have a rummage shortly.
