You may want to manually snipe as well to be extra safe. No telling what might happen with the changes going on.

The new eBay page should not have come as a surprise - it's been avaialable in test mode for a long time. I'm glad you're working on it now but, it seems to me, someone should have anticipated this. Shame on you.

we'll be ready. i'm not sure how much info we grab from those pages but we'll be sure to have it programmed before they change things so that when the change happens we can switch over.

there will probably still be 2-3 days of chaos though because eBay always trickles these changes out just a few of their servers at a time.

the hard part for us is not the change, but the fact that some of their computers have the old page, and some have the new page while they are in the middle of updating.

this does not seem to be working either just now. Also when I try to manually snipe using the item number then all I get is an error message.
What is happening?

The My Snipes page should be working again. However, you can not add new snipes right now. We're over half-way done updating to the new eBay pages.

One other note on this... eBay had told us they were switching over on the 9th. Today was actually the day we were already working on switching over to the new eBay format, we just have to work a lot faster now that eBay released the new pages 2 days earlier than we had been told.

We'll keep you posted on how things are going right here.

Are you receiving an error in particular? There shouldn't be a problem canceling or deleting snipes.

why is it that when you just get used to something people have to change their site?
and sometimes just for the sake of a new look rather than improvement!? eBay is screwing up today also, just try to delete something off of your eBay watch list. I have confidence in Auction Sniper that they'll straighten things out.

You can add snipes again and update item info. Please let us know of any ebay item numbers that you can't seem to add as a snipe. It's possible we missed some type of strange case. (Like Non-US private dutch auction or something random like that).

Nope, at least not for me. Just tried to add 2 snipes from "My Snipes" and Snipe-it-now, and get errors.

Well I can't add or cancel any snipes either!

The man asked for item numbers. Give 'em to him.

Okay... I may have jumped the gun a little. Some people are having no problems adding snipes, while others are still not able to add snipes. We've now got item numbers in the office for ones that work and don't work, so we should have the ones that don't work fixed shortly.

As was mentioned above, it looks like it is true that not all of eBay servers are displaying the new auction pages. So, if an old page is served, the new code fails. However, we got a fix for that in just a couple minutes...

Well, keep us posted on how things are working from here on out. I'm going to guess that no news is good news.

I guess it's time for me to change the sniper searches service to use the new eBay page format now.
