I get the following error when I access the "My Snipes" page.

That's a possibility. There was a problem with bid groups, and the snipes weren't being placed, but it was limited to bid groups.
I think AS is brilliant, I rely on it all the time, but do they specify in their terms and conditions about where they stand if snipes are being placed? I'm running a business on the back of this so it matters big time as far as I'm concerned. Treve
This just happened a few days ago. Maybe it's time to look at other auction sniping sites. This one's fun, but it's starting to really get aggravating...ugh

I blew it on the phone #. The only thing AS will do for snipes not placed is to give you a free snipe. Not much for missing an auction, but AS loses out on 2 fees - the snipe not placed and the free snipe.
Ok, this is probably in FAQ somewhere but I'm ultra-busy here: if I bid on my next item due at the last moment and AS also kicks in and bids does that cause me major problems? Treve
The last time this happened my snipe didn't go through and I wasn't part of a bid group or whatever they are talking about above (I'm new so I don't much either).
Just a heads up--Not sure what I would do if I had multiple listings waiting to be sniped, but if it is something important, and the server is still down, I would manually bid.

Auction sniper does NOT, as far as I can tell, end up bidding over your already placed proxy-- it knows it's you, I guess...

They will work with you on it, and resolve it for you. It's just that their computer doesn't know if they placed the bid, or you did. It only knows that you won, and you had a snipe scheduled.

Right now, no one knows if snipes are being placed. If you have multiple auctions closing today, maybe on your first auction, you could place a manual snipe or proxy bid below the ebay increment of your snipe amount, then you could tell if AS is placing snipes.

You'll think this daft but I haven't actually got a record of what I'm bidding on - I've just been relying on AS since I started using it. I know one is finishing in 3 hours or so, but I'm having to scratch my head on some of the others. Teaches me a lesson I guess!

No, I know exactly what you mean. I have a hard time remembering, and ebay isn't a business for me, so you place a lot more bids then I do.
It's due to the new eBay item page. Since we pull data off of it many things are broken. We are working on getting all of our code to pull things from the new page format and should have the site fixed in the next few hours.
