Seller no longer selling

I just won a snipe for a snowboard and the seller now tells me that he is getting divorsed and his wife ran over the board with her car so he can't sell it!!! Do I still get charged for my snipe? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this. This is the first bid I've won (well sort of won)

Nice excuse. Hey, I guess it *could* happen.. or he just chickened out because the auction close price was lower than he hoped to give it up for. You could always post negative feedback to his already -1 profile. Then again, a seller still reserves the right to reject your bid.

Either way, AS won the auction for you and it isn't their fault the seller didn't go through with the transaction. Sorry!
