I am looking for a miniature bone china cat family consisting of a mother cat 'nursing' four kittens. The cats are gray tiger stripe, I believe. I saw one listing on eBay but the auction ended with no buyer. I contacted the seller but she was uncertain about relisting. Frown I owned this set as a child, and I would love to have it again! Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks! STEPH

I am so glad you finally got yout "kitties" Smile My beloved cat Spike died last year, just prior to 9/11. I am still grieving. I am looking for black and white cat items with green eyes tha resemble him. He had a white face, green eyes, and a black "hood" marking with a "spike" between his ears. The rest of him was white belly with black and grayish stripey markings on the back and flanks. I sure do miss my baby. Enjoy your kitties Smile WildeWoman
I am very sorry to hear of your loss of Spike. The best thing you can do is visit the local animal shelter and rescue one of those!! They would be more than grateful and you would save a kitties life. With the overpopulation of companion animals, any adoption is greatly appreciated...especially when it sounds like the new kittie would have a fabulous home with you!!

Thanks, hippie-memories
Smile Hippie-Memories! Guess what? I found out my eldest daughter had a sister of my SPIKE! She left her with me when she moved out of her house, and we moved in. She is not black and white, but is all black. She is a true manx, no tail, just a little rabbitty nubbin tuft Smile She has a raspy kind of Siamese-y deep voice, like Lauren Bacall! She is also very petite and feminine. Spike and she had the same Manx mom, but Spike had a normal tail. I have developed a strong attachment to the little sweetie, she being the lil' sis and all! I call her "Liza Jane", as in the oldtimey southern song, "Lil' Liza Jane" Guess I've got a new cat! God kinda keeps an eye out, even about the pet babies. I feel a bit better, but I still miss my "Baby Boy" "Coo-Coody Baby" Spike.
