In Germany, there is a pilot project to test the use of security tokens with EBay accounts. I have registered such a token. Is it still possible to use auction sniping even with a registered token on that account?

Aren't snipe programs and services prohibited in Germany?
When you activate the security token we won't be able to snipe anymore.
For those that don't know the security token is a small piece of hardware. It would fit on your keyring for example. On the token is a randomly changing # that is tied to your eBay & PayPal accounts. When you log into eBay you have to type the # that is shown on the screen of the device along with your eBay userId & Password. Only the person that physically has that token in their possession will know the current random # that is being shown, and thus there is no way for a hacker to log into your account, even if they know your userId and Password because they also need that # from the token.
