Same items snipes (newby)

If I want to broaden my chances of winning an item and there's 2 or more of an item up for auction ending near the same time (different auctions/sellers), will AS post my second snipe if I was to win the first snipe? Or do I need to monitor my wins so to cancel the second snipe? I don't want to win both auctions, only one or the other. Thanks, Supra001
