Anyone heard there is a beta version of Ebay software being tested to speed up performance? I heard it during a Thankgiving dinner party.

Nope. Did they say what it would do or speed up? They generally are fast except at a few peak times.

I heard some software firm went around to large customers of ebay to ask for ways to improve of services. I also heard that ebay management is not that intersted in inproving efficiency as Butterfield is managed pretty casually.
