The only way to be doubly certain is to actually wait until the Reserve Is Met. If you wait and watch the action ahead of time and it's still NOT MET, there is no guarantee your Snipe will be at or above the Reserve. If your Snipe is at or above, you are an awfully good guesser as to the minimum the Seller will take for the widgit. Maybe you've been watching other widgits just like this one regularly sell on eBay and they had Reserve Prices too. If so you can guesstimate, but still that's all you are doing -- guessing what the Seller has built in to the item as a minimum they'll accept to part with their widgit. Sometimes this is the price they paid to aquire the widgit they're now selling on eBay. Sometimes it's the value they're willing to take to part with their widgit.
