If I am reading you right....the *reserve not met* will be displayed until AS places your bid in the final seconds (unless someone else exceeds it).

Ebay doesnt know you are going to snipe, so wont automatically reflect anything until it receives your bid at the end of the auction.

Good Luck - I personally hate reserve auctions and always have to ask what the reserve is. I cant stand waiting until the end to know if I am close or not.
