Newbie question. An item I want to bid on ends in 2 days. So far, the reserve has not been met. If I use AS for my max bid and my bid is above the reserve, will the auction automatically reflect that? Or, will my bid only take place in the last few seconds of the auction and the "Reserve not met" continue to be displayed(unless someone else exceeds it). Hope this question makes sense

If I am reading you right....the *reserve not met* will be displayed until AS places your bid in the final seconds (unless someone else exceeds it).

Ebay doesnt know you are going to snipe, so wont automatically reflect anything until it receives your bid at the end of the auction.

Good Luck - I personally hate reserve auctions and always have to ask what the reserve is. I cant stand waiting until the end to know if I am close or not. Smile
