Refused bid? | Auction Sniper

I attempted to do a sniper bid last night (1:10am 12/3/04) with a 10 sec delay. My bid was well above the winning bid, but for some reason was not received. Auctiosniper has a simple "Did not Win" for the reason.. When I attempt to go to the ebay link that AS gives me it is not available. What is the problem here?

It was probably due to AS being down for maintenance. ebay was down between 1 AM and 3 AM (PT) today so AS goes down at the same time. ebay doesn't go down every Friday AM, but AS does.

After doing some more reading I realize that you are probably right. I suppose I could have known, but it seems that AS could warn us about both maintenance schedules when we attempt to post a snipe during these times.

Even a early bid would probably have won the item for me if I had known.
