Reffural Not Hot Link

I just inserted the referral message into one of my auctions but the URL is not hot. Tried everything I know of---any suggestions?

Greetings,
In regards to inserting a AS referral on your auction listing....DON"T!!!
eBay can and will pull your auctions with an AS link.
It is against their Terms of Service agreement rules to list any link of that nature. (so is not specifically aimed at AS, just any link to anything not pertaining to item you have up.)

Hope that made sense.
