Receiving outbid warning despite modifying bid level

Hi all! I placed a couple of bids yesterday on an auction ending at 8:30PM EST (fifteen minutes from now). The maximum was about six bucks for both.

This morning I received a warning that my maximum had been outbid. So I went ahead and increased my maximum on both to about $10. This was several hours ago.

Anyway, I just received *another* "outbid" warning that listed my original maximum, i.e. $6. The competitor's bid was about $6.50. When I go to my snipes, the correct new maximum is there, but I'm STILL getting the yellow "outbid!" warning bar.

In short, the system isn't acknowledging my increased maximum of $10. Help!

Try first clicking the update button towards the top right. If that does not fix it, try modifying the amount again.

Mrs M is so right, you have to keep updating the prices to see exactly what is going on.
