Received outbid notice. Item sold for less than snipe & can't delete the snipe

I have a snipe in my snipes that was for $12. The auction on that item is already closed and the bid went for $11.79. The item in my snipes says "bid too low" and I can't even delete it!

Please tell me why it didn't snipe and why I can't delete it.

ebay bid increment. $5 - $24.99 has a $.50 increment. Minimum bid required was $12.29, but no guarantee that would have won.
