I just received an email from an individual (at my personal email address)referring to a "private topic" and requesting that I "trade" my "original airing". I have no idea of what this is about and whether this is a legitimate
email from an Auction Sniper member. Please respond. Thanks

All emails that go to you correspondance box here on AS are then forwarded to you private email address. That does not mean that the author has any idea of your email address or other private details.

Thanks, Camera. Best to be cautious---we all receive phony emails purporting to be from eBay. Since it has been quite a while since my reply to Hokey Pokey and since the person inquring via current email other name, think you might understand why I am inquiring about legitimacy. Think that you might encourage caution, not contempt!
