Reccomended Amount of Seconds?

Is there a recomended amount of seconds to set your AS for? Im using it for the first time and really would like to win. Any adivce is appreciated.

Hi trickster and welcome to the board!

I always use 5 seconds for a lead time and have never had a problem. However, I do change to 8-10 seconds on Sunday evenings as the server is quite busy then.

5 in normally enough. Except if the auction ends on sunday then I might use 8. If the auction ends on an exact hour,half hour, or quarter hour, then use 15-30 seconds.
