Some of the other "sniping" tools have a countdown timer, but arent half the reliable service as A/S. Timer; needed, not really, but I love that function on Yahoo's auction site.

A/S is such a cool tool for the price and also extremely reliable, I'd love to see this feature added. Adding this little perk as a popup JS with a description of the auction item and a thumbnail would put AS over the top!!

Love your service... Rock On!

When I snipe manually, as I often do just to keep my hand in, I use a $12 Radio Shack timer that works just fine. I bring up the item under eBay Search, note the time remaining when I bring it up, subtract 10 seconds and set my timer accordingly. If I'm off by one or two seconds it's an easy matter to adjust by stopping the timer and then restarting it in a second or two. Then I recheck it to make sure it's spot-on and wait....

I would love to see a built-in timer also, but I wonder whether it wouldn't take up too much memory for AS to be able to do it for all of its 70K subscribers.
Thanks Steve, good Idea. What I had in mind was something like yahoo auctions. Go look at an item there and you'll see a tiny script activated countdown timer. It's easy to manipulate and load. Until I rig a script to do this for me, I'll go to radio shack and get me a timer Smile Thanks!
