Be sure to set your snipe at the max you are willing to pay! A lot of us use 8 seconds during normal times but increase it on Sunday, on the hour, half and quarter by 10 to 15 seconds. Good luck!

If you haven't already, take a look at your "InstaMail" setting. Bring up "My Snipes" tab, click on "Modify Account", and roll down to the "InstaMail" setting.

After you use your free snipes, I would recommend giving AS your credit card info instead of using Paypal.

If you want to cancel a snipe, you must do it 2 minutes before the auction ends.

You're right about the "check box".

To make sure you see the current price on "My Snipes" page, you need to click on "Update items info".

Those check boxes are for cancelling your snipes, or moving them into another folder (in case you want to seperate your different snipes, like seperating items buying for resale, and items for personal use)

Check the box on the snipe you want to cancel or move, then click on cancel in the button in the grey box to cancel an auction. Check the box on the snipe you want to move, then select the folder to move to, then click move in the grey box to move a snipe.

1) You never have to worry about not having a balance (peace of mind).
2) It requires extra work for AS to make it happen (manual process for them) and can take awhile (might miss an auction).
3) If you should ever stop sniping you won't have to try to get a refund.
4) Based on AS' min charges, you may have extra time before you are charged.
