Just lost an auction where my bid was higher than the winning bid, while AS status indicated "Snipe placed."
What does "Snipe placed" actually mean? This is not defined on the Snipe Status Messages page.
Checking the ebay history on the auction indicates AS never placed my bid. Lame.
I am not happy at all with this result. My highest bid was a very good deal on this item, and the winning bid was a full 16% lower than what I was willing to pay.
I did file a support case for this incident, but was wondering if anyone had the same experince?
