Question about AS bidding

Ok, so I signed up to try the AS system out. Here's my question. The seller has an item listed for lets say $100 USD. Ok, so I set my snipe at $175. No one else bids on the auction, my snipe kicks in, did I win the auction for the sellers asking price of $100? Or did it go to my max snipe price???? Any info would be greatly appreciated............170bcuda

In this case, it would be 100.00..exactly like a proxy bid except it is placed at the last possible moment, one time.
