why? I never got anything that said that I had to verify anything before sniping. i did all that when it came along. i'm new so maybe there's something that i don't know? but everything seemed fine until the auction ended. I'm a little upset considering that i've had this item on my mind since it went up and i lost it. can anyone answer my question?

eBay ID and Password must exactly match you AS ID and password. If not, how can AS bid on your behalf?

I agree, as part of the signing up procedure, there should be a TEST button to check that AS can log on for you...
