... I'm unsure of how eBay even knows you are using one, unless they employ some kind of running search to ferret out the AS references. You could download one of the AS logos, rename it to something generic, re-upload it onto wherevever you are storing your eBay images and, voila! I don't think they'd be any the wiser that way. Not sure how to go about hiding the link to AS though...

If you unable to change the file name in an image editor, I can supply you with a renamed .gif logo if necessary..
I do not understand why you want a Sniper Logo in your auciton! The AS is a GREAT thing for a buyer, but not so good for a seller. One of the things that pushes up the price of an auciton is people bidding against each other. As a buyer, using the AS lets you place a bid without it ever showing, so no one knows you want it, and no one bids up the item when you bid. It helps keep the price down indirectly.

But as a seller, why would you want this? Please, one of you explain this to me.
Hi Susan & all!
I don't know how ethical it is, but this is what I have done with wonderful results for my potentail buyers as well as myself.
Cool I add to my description a phrase such as "Tired or the bidding wars?" Then offer them a link found on my "me" page called "How bad do you want that item?". I request, respectfully, that they let autionsniper know I sent them.
Wink I have received numerous free snipes & even a few thank you's in my email-box. It's nice to share the knowledge & be able to get around eBay's stickler ways. Big Grin
There is a way that you can just put your name into our link then those users dont need to enter your name at all. Just like this:

http://www.auctionsniper.com/?how=enterYourSniperUsernameHere

Nice and easy. Just put your sniper username after the how= part and that's it. Then make that be the link. When they click it and sign up we fill in that name for them automatically into the box of who referred them.
