This is a proxy post. I'll be leaving a snipe post tomorrow at 5:00:00 AM. Since this topic ends on the exact hour, I'll use a lead time of 20 to 30 seconds.
Because I proxy posted, all the other proxy posters will now have enough time to nibble my post, and distort the actual market value of this post (especially since this post has absolutely NO value). But since I'm the only proxy poster on this forum, I'm not worried about post nibblers and my proxy post won't encourage a posting war. I AM concerned that I have alerted two of my posting competitors, who are notorious post snipers. And, of course, I run the risk of a post retraction.
Feel free to check out my feedback, since everything before 5/24/03 is gone.
I have counters on this post, not because they cause extra posts, but so that I can keep track of which posts attract more attention. This will help me in the future to see what works and what doesn't, and how to format my posts. Although, we all know that counters are a waste. I might even do a comparison of this post to another post, to see if the post count had any influence on how much I posted. I would be glad to post the results of my Counter Trial, if anyone is interested.
Also, for the benefit of a few newbies, this forum WILL NOT alert other post snipers of pending post snipes (no honor amongst post snipers).
