Just double checking something..tonight will be my first, and very important Snipe. I currently have set my snipe max bid to be significantly higher than the current bid just to make sure I win. However, I won't be charged this full amount right? I will only be charged the amount that clears any previous bidders max bid ...am I right on this? At a 5 second lead I'm not too worried about anyone getting in after my bid and jacking the price up too high. Even if it goes that high I am not worried about paying my max, I would just prefer to save the money if at all possible.So I'm only charged the amount that clears the others' max bid????

That's right. You could bid a million bucks on a ten-dollar item and all you get charged is enough to win the bid by one bid increment. You just gotta hope that the #2 bidder doesn't bid $999,000.
