I have a bunch of old playboy magazines, and they have airbrushed pin ups by some artist called vargas. Anyway I posted them on ebay.co.uk, and they immeadiately got pulled off, which is pretty annoying because I noticed there are a load on ebay.com, in the email explaining the problem ebay said that they can't allowing postings of this nature on foreign sites (outside US) because it might contravene regional adult materials laws. Thing is I notice that there are some UK sellers posting identical items on ebay.com, and seem to be getting by unbothered. Can I post the items censored (black out the breasts) and/or post them on ebay.com without getting kicked off by the powers that be ? Cheers

There’s this;
"Adult" or "sexually-oriented" material includes, but is not limited to:

Any materials clearly designed to sexually arouse the viewer/reader.

That’s fairly subjective. All depends on what the definition of “clearly” is. After all, the Yanks got a course on what the definition of “is” is.

There’s this:
Blocking the "risqué" parts of an image will not exempt the item from these standards.

But then there’s this:
Material that is not considered "adult" or "sexually oriented" includes but is not limited to material which is a small and insignificant part of a catalogue, book, periodical, or other work which is not, as a whole, primarily devoted to sexual matters.
“Small” might apply to Playboy. I’m not sure whether “insignificant” applies.
