Well maybe thats a little harsh, but I have 2 items that I have sold a total of 5!!!! times between them and every time I get a bloody Non Paying Bidder!!!!!

They have just sold AGAIN! Lets hope they actually get out of this house this time.

On an up note, Aussies are spending a lot of money these last few weeks Big Grin and it seems a significant amount is coming my way - well I am hoping to close these deals successfully Confused

I've had items like that. Luckily for me I sell small-time items (usually less than $10). I just patiently go thru the steps required to get my fees back and find another way to get rid of the item. Since most of my items are craft supplies, I usually donate them as prizes to a site I volunteer my time on or give them away to friends as a last resort. Better cluttering up their house than mine!
I saw the title of this thread and thought you were going to tell us about items that are supposedly possessed! Eek There was a "haunted" child's hat on a while back and quite a few other other "possessed" items. Glad to hear you problem's nothing like that Razz Razz Razz and don't let it get to you. Maybe it's just not the right time to sell them. If you wait a while before relisting, the right buyer might just happen to see them. Big Grin

Coralbelle. why don't you relist them?
After the buyer didn't pay I sent a second chance offer to the second highest bidder. She never responded (and it was someone I know). I had already had a different auction that I had relisted because it didn't sell and got another non-paying bidder. At that point in time I was sick of relisting the same things so I gave up. Normally I do relist but never more than once.

You are buying at your own risk! ALL SALES ARE FINAL on this coat and I do *NOT* want it back! _________________________________________________ I just received an email asking about the spot showing in the photo of the back of the coat. There is *NO* spot on this coat. The person who emailed me said she believes it may be an orb. You decide, but there is not a spot on the coat! This image only showed up in the photo. Bid away! This is a NO RESERVE!!

Please - wouldnt you just get rid of the thing???

Rick, does that joke have a punch line?

I was responding to this:

Why on earth would someone want to buy a jacket that was worn when someone died in a car accident?

I'm not much of a Brussels sprouts person (I almost gag thinking about it). But other's like them (go figure). For some reason, Brussels sprouts is my best example of diversity (I can't understand how anyone can eat them).

I think I was trying to answer JLR43's question, that being, I'm not sure why people do the things they do. Example: I'm not sure why someone would want to spend several hours hitting a little white ball around trying to get it into little holes so that they can end up at the same place they started from and seeming to get upset at their progress towards most of the little holes (I don't think "handicap" is a coincident). And they sometimes do that during lightning storms caring lighting rods. Eek

Oh well - long stretch from a haunted jacket to Brussels sprouts to lighting rods. Wink

Rick, you have touched my heart, you really have!! I lived in Tennessee among the "little white balls" and actually sold my place because I could not stand the thought of paying a fee every year that was manditory so they could chase this "little white ball". I moved here and guess what is right across the canal? Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Hope you didnt have too many windows on that side of the house Shirley Confused

I will tell a silly story - my ex and his mates used to drag me out in the middle of the nite to climb over a fence, sneak across the greens and find the biggest water hazard and I would have to hold the beers and the torch while they waded around and collected golf balls. Our biggest haul was 450! which the boys then sold back to the golfers. Smile

Not a bad racket at all!!

I had forgotten about that, but I now remember, at least I think I remember, that you left a picture of a flooded golf course when you were playing around with posting pictures.
