Please Help! First Time Using AS!

I placed a max bid of $10 dollars on an item that I lost even though the ending price was $5.01. How can that be? Am I doing something wrong with the AS?? I do not want to lose upcoming items, so please explain how to use AS if I am doing something wrong! Thank You

I think you'll need to post the item number if you want anyone to look at that. In theory it should not happen as the bid increment at USD5.01 should be 50 cents.

I checked your account and you dont have any snipes that were set for $10.

Did you delete it? Are you sure it was entered? etc.

Like I said, I'm a newbie lol. I might not have even had it ready for sniping. But I did win my first snipe! So I think I'm getting the hang of it, and having ALOT of fun!! Thanks for answering
