This might give you an idea of what was being auctioned:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2910174465

Same vegetable, but different gender. It had about 200,000 hits and was at $16,600 before it was cancelled. The auction started on 2/3, and looked as if the seller was agressively removing any bids that weren't legitimate. Also, if you search ebay's forum for "2910059963", you will find some other clues.

I'm curious how oli will handle your request.
wybb,

Any ideas on why the price of an auction on a 2.5 million $ jet only goes up $100 or $200 at a time? $100 is .01% of a $1,000,000. That's like increasing the bid on $100 by 1 penny.

If I was willing to place a 2.5 million $ bid, I'd like to think I'd be bold enough to increase it by $1,000 (only .1%), or perhaps $10,000 (still only 1%)!

Boy, talk about nickel and dime proxy bidders. I'm glad I hang out with snipers. They are much more intelligent than proxy bidders.
