I am sure that most of us here have noticed that when one tells PayPal to change one's source of funding to a credit card, PayPal immediately tries to talk the user out of using the credit card and into using a debit from a bank account. ("Are you sure you want to use your credit card?")

Most of the time I use the debit, but occasionally I choose to use a credit card. PP tells me that I am still paying "instantly and securely" when I use debit. (You mean I'm NOT paying securely when I used my credit card? Eek) Lately it has added the laughable concern that by using bank debit, it will prevent "increasing debt." LOL, it's nice to know that PP cares so much about my debt ratio. Roll Eyes

But the biggest joke of all is the claim that by using debit, one is eligible for the "$1,000 weekly sweepstakes." Does anyone believe for a minute that PP gives away $1k every week to a debit customer? What do you think would hapen if you wrote to PP and requested a list of sweepstakes winners for the par year? Confused
