Just FYI...replying to these emails is generally a bad idea.
First of all, if it is a spammer, it lets them know that you exist and they will flood you with more spam.
Second, if it is automated, no human being will ever see your reply.
Third, if you suspect that there is a possibility that it is a legit email...just write to eBay (or whomever the sender was) and ask them about it. That way, since you are initiating the email, you know for sure who it is that you are communicating with.
