Payments in UK

Hi Macko,

I use Paypal for my snipe payments!! It seems a lot easier to send $5 through Paypal up front, than to wait for a bill!!! (I am from UK as well).

I also seem to find it easier to actually work in $ on Ebay etc., because I normally use the Ebay.com site rather than Ebay.co.uk!!!!

paypal sounds a good idea but dont you have to have a minimum $5 credit in there or else it will charge you $5 anyway after 3 months? maybe i'm wrong - cheers.

Are you talking about buyers or sellers, macko? I'm not aware of any such requirement for buyers.

yeah i'm talking about buyers. so - if i make a snipe per week for example and my bill at the end of the 3 months is say $3, i will only be charged $3 and no more? if that is the case then my mind is at rest. sorry to have drawn this out so much, but i was sure there was some minimum charge you had to do or something.

Macko, here's a direct quotation from the Help section of AS:

"New users are not charged for the first three auctions they win using Auction Sniper. Thereafter, we charge only 1% of the final auction price with a minimum fee of $0.25 and a maximum fee of $5.00 for only the auctions that you win. Dutch auctions are charged $1.00 regardless of the quantity or cost of the items won."

That's it. Nothing about a monthly minimum charge. Only the fee for auctions you win, and that's based on the final auction prices. Rest easy, friend.
