OK, I've got a snipe set to go off tonight at 10:30 with a 35 second lead time. I'm having a tough time not thinking like a (ugh!) proxy bidder Eek and looking at it every few minutes.
After this snipe is placed, I want to change my password because I've been using the same password since joining e-Bay in January of last year. Since I don't want to risk messing up the next snipe after this one, what's the best way to go about it? Change it with e-Bay and then AS and everything should be OK? Any tricks or caveats? I've never changed my password before. Roll Eyes So thanks for humoring me with a dumb question. Frown

Hi,

>>Since I don't want to risk messing up the next snipe after this one, what's the best way to go about it?<<
When is your "next snipe"?

>>Change it with e-Bay and then AS and everything should be OK?<<
You need to change e-bay first, before you change AS.

Changing passwords is very fast, both on ebay and AS.

You've had this password for awhile. Another 10 or 12 hours shouldn't make a big difference. If for some reason you want to change it, it will only take a couple of minutes. You have to change both ebay and AS. But it's quick. But, if you have some time, and there's nothing pressing, you can always wait until tomorrow.

What would you prefer to do?

I'll just wait until tomorrow. Thank you for telling me to do e-Bay first, then AS. I didn't know that. I just finished reading a posting on the discussion boards by someone whose password was stolen and thought it would be a good idea to change mine, too. But I was afraid I'd do something wrong that might mess up the next snipe. Thanks to both of you.
