Password change missed my snipe

When entering your password AS checks it, and will let you know if it's wrong. (or at least that's the way it used to work) To verify this, try changing to a wrong password.

Another verification can be accomplished doing “Import Wizard” (on the “My Snipes” tab at the top of the page). Import Wizard imports the auctions from your “My ebay” watch page. Import Wizard couldn’t do that unless AS had the correct ID and password.

Thanks to Puppy Raiser and Rick for your replies. I must have logged on OK as I managed to post here. And the Import Wizard worked. So I sat and waited with baited breath and won both auctions.

I'll remember next time, if it happens again. Because my email address was used by a couple of spoof eBay emails I had to change all my settings and completely forgot about Auction Sniper which was meant to work while I was at work.

This forum is not a way to verify your ebay ID and password. The forum is operated by a different company than AS. Your ebay ID and password must agree with AS. Makes no difference on this forum.

Geez - I hope Miss Maple checks back in and sees that just because she can log in here, doesnt mean she has the right information in AS for sniping

Thanks, I was a bit confused but think I've sorted it all out now. I will know if I have to change my password again to change it with AS too. Phew!

I wish there was a way to do a test snipe at times like this.

If you want an immediate test, you could pick a $2 auction ending in ten minutes and snipe that. That is what I would do.
