outbid by $.50 from 2 DAYS BEFORE???

Suddenly, there are problems... TWICE!

Bids are low. Max is set. I'm in good shape. Then get notice I lost! A review shows my bid (in last 7 seconds) was placed at my max (not at all necessary!) AND the winning bid was only $.50 over mine... BUT the winning bid had been placed 2 whole DAYS before me!???

What in the world...???

I review my sniper summary page each morning, and none of these "earlier" bids ever showed up. Additionally, if they WERE there and WERE ligit... how could they have only been for $.50 over my max!!! And why was my max even bid!!!???

The winner put in a high bid (called a Proxy Bid) that was higher than your snipe which was placed correctly by AS. Ergo, no problem. The bid was always there, you just couldn't see it...

You need to click on “Update Prices” on “My Snipes” page to insure you have the current price. Personally, I wouldn’t use AS to watch auctions – instead I would use “My ebay”.

$.50 is the increment at those prices, which is controlled by ebay.

AS only places one bid, and that’s your max bid, which is the same as your snipe bid.
