I don't depend on the bid notices. For some reason not all of them reach me before the end of the auction.

Allow the other bidder to do what? Confused It looks like the winning bidder entered their bid about three hours before your snipe. It's not possible to enter a manual bid and hide it from view until the end of the auction, if that's what you mean.

Thats what I am trying to find out how I did not get a notice from auctionsnipe that I had been out bid as has happened in the past
Nice Tool - I wish it did the refresh in a seperate page though... Perhaps AS could 'do' us one under their new regime?!

Lawrie - they're saying don't rely on AS's emails as, like all emails, they suffer the vagaries of the Internet and can either arrive instantly or take a while. It all depends on the route taken and network speeds etc. A bottleneck in Greenland could easily delay your email. Instead, go for the realtime experience and watch the item on eBay or via one of the tools like this one!

(Wish Puppy was here with his Bid Analysis Program!) Frown

You did not get a notice from AS because it didn't know you were outbid until it placed your snipe bid 6 seconds from the end of the auction! At the time your snipe was placed, 1621 held the winning bid of $105, which of course was less than your $130.87 snipe. You don't really expect AS to send an outbid notice in the 6 seconds between the time it placed your bid and the end of the auction, do you?!? And if it did, what good would it do you? -- What can you do in 6 seconds? It would take longer than that to read the e-mail!
