OUCH : The AS learning curve | Auction Sniper

I was not prepared for "AS" to "Really Work"
For the last five years on E-Bay I made many multiple bids then went to bed. In the morning I was lucky to have one item > I just joined "AS" and this weekend I bid on 4 VCR's I cancelled the last snipe when I realized I had just won
the three other VCR's. So now because of AS I have to "Cold Turkey" go back to bidding on only the one item I expect to win. Good thing I wasn't bidding on Treadmills.
Now I am attempting to install the browser - no success yet - I have XP-Home and it doesn't take the bait..

will keep trying as want all of anything that works THIS GOOD-

I think you may want to look at bid groups, if I'm understanding correctly.

Check out 'Bid Groups' under the help tab at the top of this page.

You could have put all 4 VCRs in a bid group, told AS you wanted one of them. AS would have kept bidding till you won, and then automatically canceled the rest of your snipes.

Sorry you had to learn the hard way, and that AS worked TOO well for you.

I have XP and have never tried. The Snipe it now on links works just fine for me.
