I'm not saying this is true in all cases, but since I just rcvd another msg saying my transaction was blocked, I again thought it was because I was using A.S. Alas! I followed this one through...I went back to the auction where the seller indicated 'PayPal Account Required'. I didn't think it was any problem, because I DID have a PP account. I found another item by the same seller w/the same requirements and placed a small bid on it. I rcvd the same msg on the next Ebay page which mentioned blocked because my PP acount wasn't linked to Ebay. I clicked on the blue PP comment which took me to PP, AND....it then 'automatically' linked my PP account to my Ebay PP per its msg. Sigh. Now...I do think some sellers are blocking A.S. bids which I think is silly. But they do want to drive up their price. HOWEVER - There really isn't any need for A.S. to send those messages to the seller saying that our bids were placed by A.S.! COME ON, A.S! - DON'T SEND THOSE MESSAGES! WHAT PURPOSE DOES IT SERVE EXCEPT TO REALLY TICK OFF YOUR LOYAL AND THANKFUL A.S. USERS?
