Older than 30 days....

This is probably a stupid question (it's certainly the result of a stupidly quick clear out of my mailbox!).

How do I get the details of auctions I won more than 30 days ago? I won an auction and paid for the item, but I've not received it and I've not heard from the seller since the payment went through. As I've been unable to get onto the net much recently, and the seller made it clear in his auction that he lives in a remote spot and finds it hard to get to the post office, I didn't worry much, but I'd like to email him and I can't find a note of his email address.

Can I list auctions I've won over 30 days ago anywhere, or is this one just a loss?

If you have the number of the auction, it is visable for 90 days, however, Ebay offers no help after 30 in recovery. If you paid by paypal , credit card, my advise is to go directly to your credit card co.

Ah yes - Paypal!

Sadly, I had to pay for this one by cheque - the seller didn't take Paypal at all.

It wasn't a lot of money, but it was something I really wanted. I suppose it might yet turn up - I've mellowed a little since a parcel I ordered from the US arrived safely after eight weeks of travelling.

I must get my signature sorted out - I must look boring....

To get the details, go to your ebay site.
Then click on feadback tab. then ask to post feedback. Ask it for ALL feedback needed to post.
That should bring up the item. Then just click on the item number. that is the quickest way I have found.

Yes, if it is sent from the US slowboat (cheapest postage), it very well would take that long..and then, sometimes things get stuck in customs. Yuck! Does the person say it was sent? Well, for the future, print out a copy of the auction and keep it until you receive the goods! It makes a great reference.

I'm embarrassed to have to say I didn't snipe this one....it's a camera bag and only cost £8. It's the sort of thing that there are loads of available every day so I didn't think it was worth wasting a snipe on it.

Shop's idea of using the feedback is fab though! This morning I had time to go back through all my email and I actually still have the original mails about this auction. The sender emailed me to say what the cost would be, and I sent him a cheque. Since then I haven't heard a dicky bird. That was ages ago....

Maybe once I get back from this weekend's race I'll get his 'phone number from eBay and give him a call.
