Ok, What does 'Did not win' mean cos I'm NOT happy!!!!!!

I lost 2 incredibly important business auctions today that can't be replaced. I am very upset and am looking for another snipe system because this isn't the first time it has happened. Anyone have any suggestions for another sniping service?

BOY - that must have been one very important auction to post what you did above. I've been following Steve's advice about doing 8-second-snipes. I've been very happy with the results.

Hope we don't loose you, Cas. Not sure I can say the same for Lizzie.

You can bet this isn't a general problem. On a Sunday night, if eBay or AS are having any problems, everyone is viewing and posting.

I don't think this is a user problem, I think it's an AS problem. I had a snipe set for an item that went off about 20 minutes ago. I wasn't sure I was going to be home, so I just set it and left. I was back in plenty of time to snipe the item manually, but because AS was set, I did something else. That item is STILL in my list to snipe, but the time is past. The item did not sell at all, so it's not that I was outbid. Oh well, there goes that Christmas gift.

I have an awful temper, but I don't bear grudges lol....I was upset yesterday about it as most of us home educating types like to pick up bargains...anyway I managed to find the same cd rom new from an online shop at 1/2 price so I'm feeling a wee bit better about it today...I have set my daily snipes up and will see what transpires today....but if they don't work....I will be back with the red angry face!!
Seriously though, I haven't had many problems so far, and as we aren't lucky enough to have the benefit of broadband in our 'ikkle village then AS has been a real help to me, I have noticed a few problems with being unable to access the site on first try, but put that down to it being Christmas and busy, and as I use AOL then I don't think I have to say much more lol
