Not yet. He has until June/July. He's in a bad mood today because he's rebuilding his car and all the parts didn't fit. I expect it to get worse as the 24th approaches. ....for both of us. I don't want to take him to the airport. Awww, shoot, I'm bawlin about it already.....

MG, my heart goes out to you. I had to take my grandson to the airport when he went back to his US base and it killed me. I cannot even begin to imagine .

He left a year ago yesterday. So it will be almost a year and a half before he's back to stay. And he's afraid that may only last 6 months or so until he has to go back or to Afghanistan. Too much going on.

Yea, you think it's hard to put them on the school bus, and then it's prom and when they move out. I was so upset sending him off to basic training and his base too....it all seems silly now.He was safe there! This is by far the hardest thing I've ever had to go thru. I have this terrible phobia about sending him back and something terrible happening before he can stay home. ugggg, my mind thinks too much!!
