Now one of two active auctions is counting down | Auction Sniper

Now one of two active auctions is counting down, the other not. The first one was counting down with ever-changing number of seconds, but after about 10 min settled down to five seconds at a time, but occasionally 6 or 7 or just 4.

Very wierd, makes me afraid to update prices in event that I freeze the whole thing.

Last I heard, it was controlled by your computer's clock. If not, then:

p.s. Won't impact when the snipe is placed. AS uses ebay's clock to determine that.

The time on the My Snipes page is nothing to do with anything - it just fools people into thinking AS is 'interactive'.

The sooner AS gets rid of it the better, I say!
