I had my snipe in plenty of time for the end of the auction. The auction ended with a 13.00 high bid. I had a 20.01 cap on it!! WHAT HAPPENED??????

I am a new user. I won my first snipe and then lost the next. and my bid was also higher than the winning bid. All the report says is Item not won. What happened? 
mine was 11/3 at 6:00pm central time.
Sunday night is eBays slowest night because so many auctions end and bidders are on. In general we miss only about 1 in 1000 or less due to eBay running slow, but it's about 3 in 1000 on Sunday. What you can do is set the lead time of your bids to 7-8 seconds on Sunday rather than 5 seconds.
