Norton Internet Security

In order to use Auction Sniper, I have to turn off Norton Internet Security 2004.
What happens if it is on is that when I click the import wizard, it never appears. As soon as I disable internet security all is well again.
Does anyone know how I need to set Nrotn to allow import wizard to work?
If I knew the IP address of auction sniper I migh tbe OK, or maybe the port it uses.
All help or pointers gratefully received.

Someone else may have been through this before, but to technical for me.

This probably doesn't help, but I use Norton Anti-Virus 2004 with no problems, except with e-mail. I had to turn scan outgoing mail off. (still scans incomming)

Yes, that was what I was thinking, Rick. He can go in and disable that part while using the import.

double click your norton icon
click "privacy control"
on your right bottom you wil see "configure"....click it
click "Advanced"
In your "Global settings" tab you should have all 5 of those boxes checked "Permit"

I don't have the same version of Norton as you but all I could think of is does yours include a firewall? I use Zone Alarm's free firewall and I have to give new programs permission to access the internet. Just a thought on what your problem could be.
