I had my auction sniper for the first time not place a bid on a car I dearly wanted and would have won but my bid was not placed. It said not in time but I was at 5 seconds lead time which is the default setting. At times the auctions in progress disappear from my sniping page i noticed. Anyone have similar problems. Im a first time poster on the forum. Thanks for any help Smile

Having a lead time at 5 seconds on a Sunday is a risky business - it's peak time on eBay so things runs sloooow...

AS does extend lead times when things get sloooow but I guess yours just didn't happen.

AS may give you some free snipes if you ask nicely.

Hey Sara (she works for AS) why not have a pop up message on snipes placed on Auctions that finish at busy times to warn of these problems so that newbies aren't disappointed unnecessarily?

Many snipes at 5:59 for the 6pm time missed last night. Yours was even at 5:59:09 which is usually safe but the number of people getting on eBay and such for the 6pm time musta bee a lot and carried those effects back a little.

If you click the confirmation button next to your losing snipe you can see we did place your snipe and eBay gave us the error message that the auction was already over.

You can get your free snipe here:
