Glad you like the hat. I'm finding that I'm more of a true-blue-Texan now that I've left the state than I ever was before!

Makes sense though -- back there, it's just assumed. If you overdo it, you're just weird. Once you're away from it, though, it becomes part of what makes you a little bit unique. Not to mention a reminder of home. So "Texas" is now part of my identity and personality in ways it never was before.

Just gotta hope somebody kicks it out of me if it becomes obnoxious...

SS...hehheh yea, they sure can interrupt your sleep! Jumping on the bed, walking on your face.....crashes in the middle of the night! If you didn't see my OLD kitty on the really big cat post check him out. He has a bad habit of howling horribly , and likes to do it in the middle of the night! He howls at "things"....the fridge, the wall, the floor!! The vet said he has a liver problem and thin blood and we should decide when his quality of life is poor. That howling doesn't do much for ours, but we don't have the heart to make that decision.......so we just have to put up with it.

It totally grosses out my mom that I let my kitties sleep with me. She just doesn't know what those furry cuddles are worth!

...my cat would sleep on the bed; no, she wants to curl up on the living room rug.
