Jaza,

AS will help hide your interest in a particular item until the last few seconds of an auction. Why is that important? The same reason a company's stock goes up when Warren Buffet decides to buy them. It's basic supply and demand. The greater the demand, the higher the price.

AS won't win auctions for you unless your bid is higher than others bidding. What it will do though, is not let them know until the last minute so they can't change their mind and outbid you.

Welcome to the forum and to AS. I recommend you read through the forums, check out the help section FAQ's and select a low dollar item to bid on first. Once you win something, you'll see how well the system works.

Good luck and Happy Sniping!

Not only does AS keep you from running the price up higher as direct EBay does. It allows you to cancel a bid if you find something better or lower priced to bid on. EBay does not allowed that. As MRS M likes to say. Decide on the MAX Bid, snipe it on AS. Then you do not overspend and also get a chance of getting it for a lower price.

One great thing also, is to 1. Check out the help information areas. Expecially the Group Bids. Then check the thread on the subject that is currently in progress.

Best of luck. I have found that I have never lost an AS snipe that I was willing the pay the higest price for. Only the ones that I felt were over priced at the end have I lost. I just did not want to overpay.

Have a great time Sniping.... Cool
