newbie question about sniping against myself if I am high bidder and a max bid in.

I read the FAQ but that did not answer my question. What I want to know is this I am the current high bidder and I have a max bid in place. I also have AS set up to snipe the auction at a higher price that my max price at ebay will I snipe against my self and raise the price above my max bid on the auction?

No, in that case your previous high bid will be the winning bid. Both your bid and the snipe by AS are being placed by your eBay user name, so you cannot bid against yourself.
