HI all,
I'm new to AS and was real excited about a couple of bids I had going today. Lo and behold I logged in to see I had lost them by:

Proxy Outbid. Don't know what that means.

And another one said I lost because of a low bid, but the maximum bid was NOT as high as my max bid I had keyed into AS

So I'm a bit confused... am I doing something wrong?

TIA,
Brandon

A proxy outbid is when the current bidder at the time your bid was placed had a higher bid than your snipe amount.

Low bid means your bid was too low.. Double check and make sure you didn't put the decimal point in the wrong spot. It could also be that your bid was not at or above the next incremental bid above the current bid amount at the time your snipe was placed. (If the current amount was $50, the next incremental bid allowed by eBay would be $51, so a bid of $50.26 would be rejected as too low)
